As most of you probably noticed we missed sending out status last week. Between nationals in Spokane and running the largest project we have to date we were stretched a little thin. We are ramping up two additional people to help with the online content over the next few weeks in hopes we get a bit more consistent. Congratulations to all who placed and won at nationals this year here is to making that a possibility for Kitsap in years to come.
- Register and point sk8town.org.
- Interview with Kitsap Sun and Sound Publishing.
- Chase down insurance options for rental trucks.
- Pickup items from CKHS auction.
- Purchase PA gear from CKHS liquidation.
- Make Pride and Floor Crew Volunteer shirts.
- Post pride, floor removal, and floor unload events to event calendar.
- Share Memories Board with Local media
- Finish unloading all skates from box van for inventory/ingest.
- Run Floor loadout and Floor storage events.
- Meet with Judges at nationals about national/international standards.
- Close out insurance requirements for floor removal.
- Draft/use Floor Removal Liability release
- Make flyers and copy for Pride.
- Call volunteers that don’t do email/social for volunteering
- Sign Lease agreement for Speed skates with NDC for internship program.
- Setup contract with Express to hire workers.
- Coordinate and iterate with transport logistics companies for transport options. (Thanks again United Moving and Storage for coming in and advocating/trying to help after U-Haul canceled 5 of our 6 reservations and refused to allocate unused trucks out of Tacoma.)
- Complete loadout and storage of CKHS floor and other items.
