The past several weeks have been an incredibly busy time for us. We have done a great deal of physical labor along with several votes and a Facilities Committee meeting. Be on the lookout in the next day for some major news and finally a chance to get involved. Unfortunately, because of the active negotiations and concerns about creating competition we haven’t been able to be totally transparent with what is consuming most of our time. Please feel free to keep an eye on the todo/status page for live status on the majority of projects we have in flight and what is next in pipeline. This is a bit of a new process for us so please bear with us as we get use to operating as a team and scaling up to run an organization like this.
- 6/30 Skates were picked up from Skateland.
- 7/1 We spent the day removing kick plates and top plates from Skateland and transported it to storage.
- 7/2 Pickup and store cotton candy machine.
- 7/5 Put calls in on a few short and long term facilities. Basically following up on leads. One may bear fruit but so this remains internal.
- 7/6 we began the process of sorted into good to go and needs repair. About two-thirds of them are done with only the small Ladies and large Mens remaining to go. Its been a bit of a shocker how much dust there is to clean off but we are making good progress.
- 7/6 Scraping gum and sorting usable lumber top plates happened in parallel to the skate clean/sort.
- 7/7 Load out skate racks from Skateland and get them in storage in preparation for cleaning
- 7/8 Asset tags arrived to do inventory management of skates as we will need to be very diligent at pop up events and with the inventory being used across clubs/orgs for different programs to make sure it doesn’t wander off.
- 7/9 Vote sent out to spend on a PO box
- 7/10 Participate in the CK schools auction (look for a big announcement 7/11)
- 7/10 Get P.O. Box 4761 Bremerton, WA, 98312
